I would be happy to host a day of Idaho fly-fishing on the South Fork of the Boise river in Southern Idaho (90 mins form Boise). The river has large native Rainbow Trout (16 to 20 inches is normal). We fish out of a drift boat with some wading if you would like (not required). It's a great 1 day adventure. Fishing is generally with a 6 weight rod for nymphing and a 6-4 weight rod for drys. Lots action on the surface -- the fish do like to look up for big bugs especially when the large Stone's are around.
I can provide flies and equipment if necessary --- the better your casting abilities the better the fishing. The fish do get particular on the drift of the fly.
Fishing would require and Idaho State or out of State fishing license -- and all fishing is catch and release with barbless hooks. We do take lots of photos though. I would be happy to put some one up for a night in my home in Boise.
