Trying to get a jump start on the 2012 seasons. Working with the Doug Bridges Memorial Hunts I will be offering 4 hunts hear in central Id this year. The hunts will be in and around Donnelly Id Valley county.
#1 Spring bear baiting 1 hunter 5 day hunt season is April 15 -May 31

I will host 1 hunter for a 5 day hunt.
#4 Nov 10-30 Traditional Muzzloader (Again last years dates) Should stay the same.
I will Host 1 hunter for a 5 day hunt. Cow Elk ONLY.
All huns can and will consist of ground blinds, spot and stalk, Jeep . Depending on weather and the hunters arability.
For the Lic the Id G&F requires a 40% disability rating to get a reduced lic. a hunter safety card.
The DBMH will purchase this for the hunters.
All hunters will stay at my home unless you are allergic to cats then we have alternet accommodations available. We do have cats and dogs.
All Hunts will be tailored to the ability of the hunter the weather and wear the game is It changes from season to season.
Wheel chairs are not a problem I can set up blinds in good elk deer and bear country too!
This is NOT a TROPHIES hunt Their are some nice animals hear but the normal is advridge or smaller horns.
I will do the best I can to get you on game BUT IT IS HUNTING! We had a good year last year see photos on my page.
My wife has a great sense of hummer and we have a good time hope you can enjoy a camp fire with us!
All Trophies are the sole responsibility of the hunter. I will prep them as needed for the taxidermist or mount. I do have a tannery hear local that will tan any hides wanted to tan free of charge. I will do a European mount free of charge if that is what you want.
The DBMH will provide $100. to the shipping of meat, mount or hide horns?
This is your responsibility but we can help some.
Thanks Kevin

i would love the oppurtunity this upcoming year to go out on one of your hunts....im available 24/7 and can be reached at 616-520-3952. I had the awesome oppurtunity to go out on the the very first Doug Bridges Memorial hunt with Monte Bruhn and had the time of my life. I wasnt sucessful but the memories and scenery alone was something that I will never forget. My head injuries never slowed me down but my thinking cap was slowed down a bit but all in all I'm healty enough to still climb mountains, etc....
Thank you for your time and support of all us fellow veterans,
God Bless,

My name is Tim and I was hoping that we could talk about possibly setting up a hunt this year. I have not yet had the privelege of attending a hunt in the northwest. I love the outdoors and shooting and would really like to see if we can set something up. My injuries have kept me out of the game for some time, but i am ready to get back out there. I can be reached any time at 408-529-0025 Thank you guys for all that you do.

Permalink Reply by Kevin Lukens on February 7, 2012 at 7:48pm Bill Typically The elk are in the tail end of the rut. Some times hard in it but some times the bulls are splitting off too. so we will deal with whatever comes! Remember some of my area is short range weapon only. so a inline muzzle loader may have to be used. Depending wear the elk are holding at the time. I have a inline if you dont. As for the Deer the rut starts in mid Nov. I will some times yous a predator call to get them to stop and turn around. For what that is worth. So basically bring your worm clothes guns ammo and anything you think you want ? We will do as much as we can!
Timothy Looking forward to you coming to Idaho for a spring Bear hunt. It was great talking to you and will be talking to you again soon to get the details hammered out.
Thanks Kevin
