The Link-Up between wounded veterans and donors nationwide

Volunteers: Post your opportunity in the Link-Up section related to the fish or game

Members,
Thanks very much for signing up. Now we need to start populating the opportunities you are willing to host our Wounded Warriors on at your ranch, lease, lake or other favorite spot outdoors.
Select from either the Forums on the home page or the Link-Ups page to post your opportunity. It will appear in both. There is a template to cut and paste in your new 'discussion' within the selected Link-Up category. Just right click and copy the text and modify it to your trip you are offering.
The more you post your opportunities, the more our guests will become attracted to the site to use it to Link-Up with generous folks like yourselves.
Link your favorite Facebook or Twitter messages to your hunting and fishing too! That will help us reach far more Wounded Warriors and generous folks who want to help!
Thanks,

I am trying to organize a group at my church to get injured vets who live in the local Canton GA area or from the med center in Decatur GA. and egt them and their familys back into the outdoors. Guys I'm not talking about big time big game hunts or deep sea fishing trips. What I'm trying to do is provide an opportunity for a day deer hunt or a bird shoot or fisshing on the local lake nothing elaborate just more often; maybe once a month or so. What I need is any ideas or pitfalls I need to watch for and any suggestion on equipment and how to contact these vets. Please email me at wdgsr001@comcast.net or call me at 678)607-1596
Thanx

Want to duck or goose hunt in the marshes, lakes, and bays of Southeast Texas next season? I will begin hunting during early Teal season and won't stop till the sason ends. Contact me if you want to come hunt. We will have access to thousands upon thousands of acres and will be going after Teal, Wood Ducks, Gadwall, Wigeon, Mallards, Mergansers Redheads, Scaup, and Mottled ducks, and maybe even a Golden Eye and Canvasback or two if we are really lucky. You can bring your own gear or you can use some of mine. I have the boats, decoys, dogs, shotguns and I MIGHT be able to fix you up with some camo clothing if needs be.

My name Is Spc Bill Wood, I'm currenty at the 100% disability rating with the V.A. I am trying to link up with anyone who would be willing to take me out on a Biggame Hunt this yr or in 2011. I have served for over 15 yrs with the Marines, Army, and the Michigan National Guard and came across the Hunts for Heros site. I think its great that we have people out there who are willing to take time out of their busy schedule and donate these hunts for us veteran sportsmen. Thank you for your support and hope to hear from ya.

Biil, Let me tell you this. If you can get down here and go duck hunting with me, I'll go a step farther than just taking you duck hunting and providing you with whatever equipment you might need...........If you shoot a bird that you would like to have mounted, I will get it mounted for you at no cost to you. I'll take care of it.

if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck.......shoot 'em in the face and put it on the wall!!!!
Man , that sounds great!!! I will give you a call soon and let you know when I can come down. I went duck hunting once and the story is alot funnier over the phone. Talk to ya soon brotha

Bill

I'm DuWayne Smart and was forced to retire in August 2011, because of my injuries and illness, (60% disabled according to the Army) I've always wanted to go hunting for Elk, Moose or Bear and to tell you the truth this website seems amazing to me and that so many people out there are willing to do this for our vets, thank you for all you do!
Monte, is IF&G only going on VA rating or will they accept Army disabled retirement orders? I haven't been to see the VA guys but I got my retirement orders yesterday. If the Army orders are acceptable, we can get a jumpstart on the process.

Thanks again!
George
Monte,

My name is SSG James and it would be a dream come true to be able to hunt elk and mule deer with your outfit! I was wondering if you will be offering this for next season as well? If so I would love to be considered as one of your guests for next season! I will give you my phone number if you e-mail me on my personal e-mail account stated below.

Bill this is john bennett. I have spoke with you before, but just to refresh your memory, I am from cascade, MT and I am paralyzed from the waist down and was told by my doctors to stay off horses. You had said that you might be able to find a place to hunt from a pick upi or four wheeler. well I would be very interested in an elk, mule deer or Black Bear hunt. and heck if the government would get their act together then I could even hunt a wolf. But that is a sore subject for Montanans and Idahoians alike. Look forward to hearing from you
SSG John Bennett
