I fish predominantly the Potomac and the Occoquan. Never fished the James. I hear it's the number one river in the southern half of VA for smallmouth, and it has an established population of muskie.

I go fishing on the Potomac River most weekends: normally on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. I'm happy to take someone along. FYI - I have a 14 foot jon boat that doesn't have a lot of room in it, so this would be a no frills kind of fishing trip. No frills - just fish. I can meet you at the boat ramp or at another convenient location in Fairfax County.
