My dual disabled veteran family and 1 child are going to be moving to Idaho this summer. We are planning a trip to Boise on March 19-23, 2014 to decide which town we want to live in. We are wondering if anyone (veteran or veteran friendly)has a floor we could crash on for a night or two to help alleviate the cost? Or maybe, you know of a great cheap motel? (Kuna, Meridian, Nampa, Boise, Eagle, Star area). Also, any good information about where to move would be great. We prefer the country lifestyle but Shawn needs to commute to Boise State for RN school, as he is a retired medic. I am a high school science teacher currently. We know little to nothing about Idaho, except that we are rather tired of California and its lack of good hunting and fishing.
Thanks!
Jen

Thank you for the kind words, Scott was the class act not me. He deserved all i could do and more.
Funny you mention Bill Wood. He told me about you. I have an outfitting store - Red Sky Outfitters and he is a regular customer. Great guy! You can check us out on-line @ www.redskyoutfitters.com. We do a lot of fun events with the local veteran community, and look forward to continuing in the future.
Hey brother hope all is going well out in Idaho and N.Dakota. We did have a good Christmas, hope that you and yours had one as well. Just got on link up and saw you had hit me up. Sorry I havent called ya lately I know your busy with work and I am actually unemployed at the moment due to some issues (give you a call soon and I can talk to you about them) Got me two does out here in central Texas, good eatin yearlings. Got me a grinder for christmas so I could take care of the meat myself. Be safe Brother and I'll holler at ya soon.
"Monte" Thanks for the great time me and my family had in Idaho last week. The people of Salmon are truly great Americans! Monte; you and Roy Rhodes made this a hunt of a lifetime, and to top it off with a 5x5 elk, 5x4 mule deer for myself and a doe mule deer for my son is just over the top. Thanks for everything you do to help our fellow veterans.
Lisa I have photos of all the hunters I have posted if you dont get a response from a few I have hosted I will be in Buhl till Sat afternoon then I can send you some if needed? My e-mail is klukens@juno.com Thanks for ALL You do
I am hoping all of the veterans that Idaho N Heroes Outdoors & Doug Bridge's Memorial Hunts has taken on adventures will see this post and get with me. If they can, I would like them to email me one of their pics while they were enjoying the outing and a really brief bio, i.e. name, location, branch of service they served in & years of service, and a brief blip about their disability/injury. My email is armymom1123@yahoo.com . These pics will be used on the boards for the 2nd annual "Freedom Isn't Free" golf scramble. I'm hoping they'll get the info to me in the next few days, I only have 2 weeks to have all five of these boards done & it's alot of work!
In advance to all of our Wounded Warriors, this proud Army Mom says "thank you"! I look forward to getting to know you and sharing a piece of your story via our boards at the golf scramble.
