Hey Brian, I just spoke with Ransey and he suggested I reach out to you. I'm an OIF vet here in Md looking to get back into hunting and to network with other guys looking to spend more time hunting. Looking forward to speaking with you.
I was stationed at Fort Sam Houston
For Combat Medic School and cardiovascular school
I see Walter Reed on your profile
I was a patient there in 96.
I had cancer and was there for Radiation
That's awesome. I liked it up there quite a bit. I live down in VA now, but I actually was up in WV/MD area turkey hunting with the potomic highlands wounded warrior outreach program (ft ashby VFW) this last gobbler season.
Haven't got my stamps yet, wondering if anyone will be hunting resident season. I have to be at work at 11 next 2 days so could do a brief morning hunt.
Bet you had a great time though. I have been seeing an average two bucks and two doe where I go. Buck stood 10 yards from me trying to figure out what I was on Thursday.
Brian, could possibly be? I recall he was a former paratrooper and avid hunter. I do work Sunday (obviously missed this post) but sent a friend request and can provide my number. Have a great week!
It was nice meeting you with Matt also and enjoyed the time. Cant wait to go on some hunts and fishing with the group. This is what I have on my lifetime license:
The license incorporates a complimentary lifetime hunting license and both the non-tidal angler’s license, including the trout stamp and the Bay & Coastal sport fishing license.
I have not contacted either one but plan on it. A bad on the water or in the woods is better than a good day in the office...

That sounds fun, I have never been goose hunting.
Awesome. I have been mainly fishing. I am hitting the woods up here this weekend for the opener.
Good to hear from you. We have been busy the last few years. I retired and we moved back to PA. How are you?

Thank you. And, yes. However, we did not go through with the purchase of Conah's. But I am happy to help any way I can.
I'm in North Alabama. i dive to Cincinnati and Kentucky all the time.
I'll drive anywhere to get the chance to hunt again

I hunt deer, yotes, duck and turkey. My ultimate goal is to one day be able to take my dad to go Elk hunting out west.
Thank you,
Leonardtown is about 25 miles away from me. I do not hunt due to my PTSD. Nor have I got a gun.
Hope you had a good time. Most of my time is spent onboard watching the water.
